Y6 SAT's Week
Written by: Hollie
Last week, was a very busy yet important week. It was SATS week. Year 6, have been revising for at least the past 2 months. Everyone in the school, are very proud of how well year 6 have done in their SATS. During SATS, everyone struggled but tried their absolute best -which is all they ask of us.
Here is a quote from a child in year 6.
“It was very difficult, but I tried my best and did what I can,”.
Here is a quote from myself.
“I found it difficult at times and started to stress but I’m happy that they were completed!”.
In the test room, you have 4 sweets on your desk to eat during the test if you get stressed and to put your sugar levels up also, you were allowed to bring at least 3 small comfort toys for the tests.
When you weren’t doing the test, you went into a different classroom to go and do some revision- which some teachers kindly planned for us.
In the tests, you had to use a special pencil as a human being doesn’t mark our papers; a very special machine does.
During the week, they set up a breakfast club for us to come to and have food and talk to our friends before we were split up into about 5 different groups.
We would just like to say a massive THANKYOU to all the staff that: gave up their lunch; gave up their classroom so we could revise in them; planned revision for us to do. All the staff have been extremely kind to us (like always).
