Our School Day

The School Day

Children are in school for 32.5 hours per week.

The timings of the school day are as follows:

8.40– Doors open to all

8:50 - Start of school day

8.50 – Registration

8:55 - Exterior gates closed

10:15 – Key Stage One and Two Breaktime

11:30 – Lunch for Nursery and Reception

12:00 – Lunch for Year One, Year Two, Year Three and Year Four

12:15 – Lunch for Year Five and Six,

12.15-  Nursery and Reception afternoon starts

12:45 – Year One, Year Two, Year Three and Year Four afternoon starts

13.00 – Year Five and Six afternoon starts

14.00 – Afternoon break for Key Stage One

15:00 – Exterior gates open

15:20 – End of School day

The school doors open at 8.40am and children have 10 minutes to settle into class and complete Early Bird Activities.

The school day starts for all pupils at 8:50am, and finishes at 3.20pm for all classes except Nursery which finishes at 3:00pm.

We have a celebration assembly every Friday for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

All children have 45 minutes for lunch. Your child may have a school dinner or bring a packed lunch.

All the children have a fifteen minute break in the morning and may bring in healthy snacks to eat at this time.

The younger children also have a break in the afternoon.

All Children can be collected from their classroom doors, children in Year Five and Six are able to walk home with parent/carers permission.
